Say goodbye to loose dentures!

Edentulism presents many problems for patients. Although numerous solutions exist, they're not always suitable.

Now you can offer your patients an affordable, simple and proven solution for denture stabilisation and replace some dentures with small diameter implant (SD Implant) retained single unit crowns.

Our small-diameter implant course is designed for practitioners who would like to expand their practice offering, by adding small-diameter implants as a definitive solution for patients’ loose dentures.

The one-day, part lecture, part hands-on course emphasises the treatment planning, case selection, placement protocol and restorative techniques specific to small-diameter implants.

Morning session

Is held in a classroom-style setting with limited numbers to enable one-on-one time with the course instructor. Small-diameter implant surgical and restorative protocols are demonstrated through case slide presentations.

  • Indications for small-diameter implants

  • Clinical evidence/rationale for the use of small-diameter implants

  • Successful case selection, surgical considerations and planning strategies

  • Theoretical overview of small-diameter implant diagnostic and surgical protocols for lower denture stabilisation

  • Demonstration of surgical and restorative protocols

  • Clinical tips for success

Afternoon session

The afternoon session provides an opportunity to back up the morning sessions topics with additional “hands-on” experience.

  • “Hands-on” surgical simulation exercises using pig jaws

  • “Hands-on” impression technique for retention housing integration with a Dental Prosthetist

  • Treatment planning and case discussion
